About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled analyst to transform data from numerous sources into well thought out actionable insights that support continuous improvements commercial, product and operational performance.

A key role within the organisation, the business/data analyst will provide quantitative support to a fast-paced decision making process.


  • Use data and a deep understanding of Bark's offering to make impactful recommendations
  • Work across all departments to ensure key data points are tracked
  • Create and maintain regular reporting and provide insights on key trends/variances.
  • Create and maintain tools to help marketplace category managers optimise category level performance
  • Undertake data-driven competitor analysis and benchmarking to support strategic decision making
  • Conduct impact analysis of business changes and tests
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support day to day activities

Required skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience within a fast-paced and complex analytical environment
  • At least 3+ years of writing your own SQL code
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Degree in a quantitative subject (or relevant experience)
  • Able to comfortably articulate findings with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate complicated analysis in a clear, insight-driven way to drive business change
  • Passionate about data and commercially astute
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics

Desirable skills & experience

  • Python &/or R
  • Familiarity with conversion optimisation analysis
  • Knowledge of online marketing tools (e.g. Moz, SEMrush, Rank tracking etc)
