About the role

Bark is looking for its first Product Manager to join the Product team and work across the full customer experience to deliver first-class products. As our first Product Manager, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the future direction of the product and our approach to product management. You’ll work closely with design, engineering and analytics alongside the CPO and founders to create high performing products. You’ll be at the heart of building a service our customers love and at the forefront of delivering market-leading and exceptionally innovative products that will genuinely change the world.



  • Contribute to the product strategy and vision alongside the founders and leadership team
  • Drive product discovery to identify innovative solutions to help our customers
  • Define, maintain and own the product roadmap and backlog
  • Complete detailed product definition for new products and feature improvements
  • Work directly with co-located designers and developers to deliver your product roadmap
  • Drive successful product launches including working with marketing and customer success teams
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements and implement experiments to test the impact of your solutions
  • Provide effective written and verbal updates on the product roadmap and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders


Required skills

  • At least 3+ years of experience in product management
  • Proven track record in managing products and the product roadmap from discovery to delivery in a fast-paced, high growth and successful online business
  • Substantial experience managing the development team delivery from user story and feature specification through to release and post go-live support
  • Confident in using data (qualitative and quantitative) and insights to inform decisions
  • Excellent communicator and able to clearly present work, explain thinking and discuss decisions confidently
  • Extremely organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing - identifying improvements, implementing experiment and monitoring metrics to ensure targets are delivered
