About the role

Bark is looking for its first senior recruiter to join the team and help scale the business from its current size 50 to its next stage and beyond. You will own the end-to-end recruitment process, finding and hiring first-class talent across all business functions. Your work and hires will be a massive contributing factor in Bark’s growth so you’ll be working directly with the founders as well as senior management to build the team. It will be a challenging, yet extremely rewarding role which is why Bark’s looking for a driven, passionate and talented individual to strategise and deliver first-class results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process in partnership with hiring managers across the business
  • Find, excite and engage passive candidates using innovative methods
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business objectives and identify recruiting strategies to address them
  • Articulate Bark’s mission and core values in ways that resonate with each particular candidate
  • Work closely with hiring managers to lead negotiation and drive the offer process
  • Utilise, manage and negotiate with recruitment agencies when necessary
  • Champion an amazing candidate experience and build Bark’s employer brand
  • Advise and coach hiring managers and interviewers

 

Required skills

  • At least 5+ years of proven experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment
  • Deep understanding of creative sourcing strategies to find the best candidates
  • Extremely personable with a natural ability to inspire and excite
  • A self-starter who is extremely driven and ambitious
  • Meticulously organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn systems, processes, and procedures quickly
